Teeing Areas
Unlike most golf courses, there are varying numbers of tees, from as few as three to as many as five on a single hole. None of the teeing areas is configured in a straight line.
Golf Course Construction: (July 2002-October 2003)
In round numbers, the course covers 300 acres.
Club House (projected completion by Christmas)
The 25,000-SF Southern traditional structure was designed to resemble a home with wings later added to expand the floor plan. It will house men's and women's locker rooms, a kitchen and dining areas, along with golf cart storage. Two screened porches anchor the southeast and northwest ends of the building. The larger of the two features a fireplace.
Constructed of stone, the back deck area overlooks the 18th hole and affords a great northeastern view of Lake Maumelle and its wooded ridges in the distance.
Practice Facility (open since January)
Spread over 11 acres, this includes a driving range with a two-tiered tee area and seven target greens with bunkers and two complete holes with bunkers for chipping and putting. A carriage house with driving bays allows sheltered practice during inclement weather and is equipped for video review of a golfer's swing.
Course housing (scheduled spring 2005 completion)
A trio of three-story, eight-bedroom "cottages" overlook the 10th tee area.
