Arkansas business leaders can benefit from the free expertise offered by business and economy experts at the second-annual Commerce Arkansas business expo on Nov. 3.
Sponsored by Arkansas Business and the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, Commerce Arkansas will include the Business Trends and The Economy Pavilion, sponsored by the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce. The pavilion's keynote address, "The Arkansas Economy in 2009: Staying the Course in Choppy Economic Waters," will be delivered by renowned economist Kathy Deck, director of the Center for Business and Economic Research at the Sam Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
Commerce Arkansas will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the Statehouse Convention Center Governor's Halls in downtown Little Rock.
The event is free for those who register online in advance. The cost is $20 at the door. Lunch will feature the Arkansas Business CFO of the Year Awards and speaker Jeff Gardner of Windstream. Tickets sales for the luncheon are closed.
