Restaurant Recovery
Buffalo Wild Wings will be setting up shop in a vacated restaurant property in west Little Rock after a $1.85 million transaction.
Mark S. Group Corp. of Wheatland, Okla., bought the former Catfish City & BBQ Grill & Catering project at 14800 Cantrell Road from Centennial Bank of Conway.
The redevelopment is backed with a 15-year loan of $2.35 million from the bank. The property previously was tied to a January 2007 mortgage of $1.69 million held by the bank.
Centennial recovered the property from Ken and Amy Lightfoot a month ago at a $1.85 million foreclosure sale. The Lightfoots purchased the 2.1-acre location for $1.1 million in May 2004 from CMW LLC, led by Thomas Crow, Byron McKimmey and Robert M. Wilson.
Warehouse Deal
A 50,000-SF warehouse project in east Little Rock tipped the scales at $1.7 million.
The Baxter Distribution Building at 5800 Lindsey Road was acquired by an entity related to GWG Inc., led by Sanford Wilbourn. The seller is Westcopley LLC, led by Michael Ibe.
The deal is financed with a three-month loan of $2.1 million from BancorpSouth Bank of Tupelo, Miss.
The 3.7-acre development previously was used to help secure an April 2006 mortgage of $5.1 million held by Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Co. of Jackson, Miss.
Westcopley bought the project more than three years ago as part of a $6.69 million deal with LR Warehouse Properties II LLC, an affiliate of Cooper Realty Investments Inc. of Bella Vista.
Dogtown Buy
Undeveloped land in south Little Rock changed hands in a $761,000 sale.
Dogtown LLC, led by Richard Massey, purchased the two commercial parcels totaling 16.8 acres at 4901 Stagecoach Road and a nearby 67.9-acre tract. The seller is R.E.D. Land LLC, led by Charles Davidson, Frazier Rogers and William and Alda Ellis.
The deal is funded with a two-year loan of $387,500 from BancorpSouth Bank. The property previously was used to help secure a December 2008 mortgage of $1.5 million from Metropolitan National Bank of Little Rock.
