ThermoEnergy Corp. of Little Rock announced Tuesday the appointment of Teodor Klowan Jr. as its executive vice president and treasurer.
The company also said in a Securities & Exchange filing that Klowan probably will become the CFO after it files its third-quarter report.
Klowan, was was hired on Monday, will be paid $175,000 annually and be eligible for bonuses. He had been CFO of Nestor Inc., of Providence, R.I., a publicly traded automated speed and red light technology company.
ThermoEnergy's former CFO, Andrew T. Melton, left the company in August after it was discovered that he had not filed payroll tax returns or paid payroll taxes since becoming CFO in mid-2005.
