Debra Wright is the new CEO of Howard Memorial Hospital at Nashville (Howard County).
"Howard Memorial has a good reputation for providing quality health care for as long as I can remember," Wright said in a news release. "From my standpoint, that was a tremendous draw."
Wright will start on Nov. 30. She had been at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas, for 25 years.
St. Joseph's Mercy System has a three-year management contract with the 25-bed Howard Memorial and conducted the search for Wright.
For the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2008, Howard Memorial reported a net income of $78,000 on patient revenue of $26.4 million.
