Whataburger Cooking Up More Northwest Arkansas Locations

More good news for Whataburger fans.

The hamburger chain bought two lots for $1.45 million on West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard for its first restaurant in Fayetteville. Whataburger isn’t stopping there.

The privately held San Antonio chain is scheduled to close on a lot on Pleasant Grove near the Arvest Bank in Rogers. The property should close in August.

Whispers hears, too, that Whataburger eventually wants to open four to six restaurants in high-traffic areas in northwest Arkansas before then expanding again.
