Jerry Claret Moves Up at Nations Equipment Finance (Movers & Shakers)

Jerry Claret has been hired as senior vice president of business development at Nations Equipment Finance, serving Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and Oklahoma. Claret was previously business development manager at ENGS Commercial Finance

Real Estate

Marie Stacks has been hired as a sales associate at The Property Group in Little Rock. She founded the Rotaract Club of Little Rock, an organization providing leadership development, networking and community service to young professionals, in July 2011.


Brent Birch has been hired as director of the Little Rock Technology Park. He previously worked as chief information officer at Arkansas Business Publishing Group, parent company of Arkansas Business, and as director of ABPG’s Flex360 division.


Keith Childress, a territory business manager at Ceva of Lenexa, Kansas, has been named 2014 Sales Representatives of the Year by The Poultry Federation of Little Rock, Oklahoma City and Jefferson City, Missouri. Childress has been in the poultry industry for more than 29 years and is from Bentonville.


Clay Beason, associate exercise science and kinesiology professor and assistant football coach at Harding University in Searcy, has been named director of the Harding University in Greece international program. Beason first became involved in Harding’s international programs in 2007, leading a group of students in Florence, Italy.

Beth Gladden Coulson, retired attorney and former Arkansas Court of Appeals judge, has been elected as 2014-15 president of the board of Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock. Ken Harris has been named vice president, Sterling Ingram, secretary, and Bob Childress, treasurer. Childress and Alicia Smith are new members on the board.

Laurie Diles has been named director of the oral communications program in the department of communication at Harding University in Searcy. Diles joined Harding in 2005 as an adjunct professor and has been working as a full-time professor since 2011.
