The 2014 Made by Few tech conference kicks off this morning from the Argenta Community Theater in downtown North Little Rock.

In its fourth year, Made by Few is a growing nationally prominent conference for "makers of the Web" -- individuals who design and create web/mobile applications and sites.

Scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Made by Few attracts designers, illustrators, developers and entrepreneurs from across the country. Each day's agenda includes five speakers.

The Designed by Few competition, which entails top-notch designers creating new logos and brand campaigns for nonprofits, is scheduled for Friday night from the Ottenheimer Market Hall in the River Market. It has become one of Made by Few's most popular components.

Friday's scheduled speakers are: Alex Estrada, designer fior Birchbox; independent designer James Victore; Michael Parenteau, creative director for Relevance; freelance designer Tuesday Bassen; and Jina Bolton, senior product designer for Salesforce.

Saturday's lineup, beginning at 9 a.m.: John Allison, founder,; Greg Gibilisco, director of visual design, MAYA Design; Marc Hemeon, senior UX designer, Google; freelance interface designer Meagan Fisher; Jeffrey Kalmikoff of Blurb; and James White of Signal Noise.

The 2014 conference, like its predecessors, is sold out. Made by Few is a creation the Few agency of Little Rock.
