Clothes Mentor, a franchise based in Columbus, Ohio, has opened its first location in Arkansas in North Little Rock and plans to open two additional stores in Little Rock and Conway.

Ron and Leisa Gay of Sherwood also own Plato’s Closet in Lakewood Village. Jade Moore manages the location in North Little Rock.

The store buys and sells clothing for women sizes 0-26, petites and maternity. “All day, every day in our stores, we pay you cash on the spot to purchase your better brand-name gently used women’s fashions and accessories,” Moore said in a news release. “Unlike a consignment shop, where you may wait weeks to receive payment, we pay you immediately for items that we would like to purchase.”

The store is open from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 1-5 p.m. Sunday for shopping. Buying hours are from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 1-4 p.m. Sunday.
