1 min read

Arkansas Secretary of State Mark Martin announced Friday afternoon the Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Amendment will be on the general election ballot in November.

The initiative needed 78,133 valid signatures. Martin said the group has turned in 127,265 signatures with at least 87,102 valid.

Martin certified the proposed amendment to the County Boards of Election Commissioners. It will appear as Issue No. 4 on the Nov. 4 ballot.

If the initiative is approved, alcohol sales would be legalized in all counties in Arkansas.
