1 min read

LITTLE ROCK – Arkansas Congressman-elect French Hill has been picked by the House Republican Steering Committee to serve on the Financial Services Committee in Congress next year.

Hill’s office made the announcement Friday. He will join two other incoming Republican freshmen on the panel, Mia Love of Utah and Bruce Poliquin of Maine.

Hill was elected to an open seat in the U.S. House this month. He worked in business, commercial banking and finance prior to his election. Hill was also a senior economic policy adviser to the first President George Bush.
