Development Duo Joins Centennial Bank in Jonesboro (Movers & Shakers)

Joey Speir and Brock Ferguson have joined Centennial Bank in Jonesboro as business development officers. Speir has more than 14 years of sales and customer service experience and is a member of the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce and Jonesboro Young Professionals Network. Ferguson has more than eight years of sales and customer service experience. He is a member of the Jonesboro University Rotary, the Northeast Arkansas Home Builders Association and the Jonesboro Young Professional Network legacy and social committees.

David Marks, Ryan Carrus, Colbey Frisbee, Christine Miller and Karen Davidson have been named officers for the central Arkansas chapter of the Risk Management Association. Marks will serve as president and currently works as a commercial loan officer at Arvest Bank. Carrus, a financial consultant at Carrus Financial Management, will serve as vice president. Frisbee, a commercial loan officer at Centennial Bank, will serve as secretary, and Miller, currently working as a credit analyst at Heartland Bank, will serve as treasurer. Davidson, the past president, currently works at Commercial National Bank as a manager of credit analysts and loan operations. 2015 board members include Jackson Balentine, Matthew Snyder and Gates Nieman with Regions Bank; David Coleman and Phillip Partain with Simmons Bank; Robert Fiser and Marcus Guinn with Arvest Bank; Gary Edwards with BKD LLP; Amy Pierce with DD&F Consulting; Robert Smith with Friday Eldridge & Clark LLP and David Straessle with Relyance Bank.

Education

Tory Gaddy and Julie Olsen have been promoted at the University of Arkansas College of Engineering’s Office of External Relations in Fayetteville. Olsen will serve as associate director of development, and Gaddy will be the assistant director. Both have previous fundraising experience at the University of Arkansas. Gaddy recently served as development manager for the College of Engineering. Previously, Olsen served as associate director of development for the College of Education & Health Professions.

Health Care

Dr. Eren Erdem, a neurointerventional radiologist, joined Neurosurgery Arkansas with Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Previously, Erdem was an associate professor of radiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Legal

Scott Hall has been elected as a shareholder of the Hall Estill law firm in Tulsa. Hall has been practicing law for eight years and has been with Hall Estill since 2009. He received his law degree with high honors from the University of Arkansas School of Law. Hall is active in both the Oklahoma and Arkansas bar associations and serves as a member of the House of Delegates for the Arkansas Bar Association.

Media/Marketing

Allyson Johnson has been hired as a public relations account executive at the Sells Agency in Little Rock. Previously, she was senior coordinator of public relations and strategy development at the Angela Rogers Group.

Real Estate

Tracy Ring has joined The Property Group in Little Rock as a sales associate. Ring has more than 15 years of experience in developing deal and contract negotiations.
