Allegiant Travel Co. said Tuesday that on June 4 it will begin nonstop, seasonal jet service between Little Rock and Los Angeles.
The new flight will be the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport’s first and only nonstop travel option to Los Angeles International Airport, the company said.
“We’re excited to add more service out of Little Rock and fly travelers to top vacation destinations on both coasts,” Jude Bricker, Allegiant’s senior vice president of planning, said in a news release. “We believe that travelers will embrace this new vacation opportunity and the convenience of our low-cost, nonstop flights.”
The seasonal flights will operate twice weekly through Aug. 16, flying nonstop between Clinton National Airport and LAX.
“We’re extremely excited that Allegiant Air will be adding nonstop service from Little Rock to Los Angeles,” Ron Mathieu, Clinton National Airport’s executive director, said. “For many years, our customers have asked for service to LAX, and we’re appreciative that Allegiant is making the investment into our community.”
