The U.S. Small Business Administration has launched “InnovateHER: 2015 Innovating for Women Business Challenge Business Competition” with $30,000 in prize money up for grabs.

The SBA is looking for “innovative products and services that help impact and empower women’s lives as they navigate the challenges of a changing work and family life,” according to a news release.

Startup Junkie will host the regional competition at 6 p.m. Friday, March 27, at Centerspace, located above Bouchée Bistro on the Fayetteville square. The competition is open to the public.

Aspiring entrepreneurs whose ideas meet the criteria should submit a business plan and company description to Haley Cleous of Startup Junkie at haley@startupjunkieconsulting.com.

Three to five ventures will be selected to pitch a 10-minute presentation. Winners in Fayetteville will be eligible to present in Washington, D.C., during National Small Business Week the week of May 4-8, where they could pitch for a chance to win $30,000 in prize money.
