Beall Barclay Adds Two to Team (Movers & Shakers)

Accounting

Josh Masters has been admitted as a member of Beall Barclay & Co. PLC, and Travis Teague has been admitted as a member of Beall Barclay Wealth Management LLC, both in Fort Smith. Masters joined the firm in 1999. He has 15 years of experience in public accounting and has also been involved in providing audit, tax and consulting services. Teague joined Beall Barclay Wealth Management in 2014 as a financial adviser. He has worked in the financial services industry for more than 16 years and is licensed with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and all applicable state agencies.

Richard Cisne, a CPA and founding partner of Hudson Cisne & Co. in Little Rock, has been selected by the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives to serve as chairman of its Legal, Tax & Accounting Committee. He previously served as a subcommittee chairman and member of the executive committee.

Education

David Nelson, Magnolia’s city inspector, was appointed to a five-year term on the Southern Arkansas University board of trustees. He fills the position previously held by Dillard’s Inc. CFO James Freeman, whose term recently expired. Nelson has previously served as president of the SAU Alumni Board of Directors.

Lona Robertson, associate dean of the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food & Life Sciences at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, was recognized as one of 22 fellows of the Food Systems Leadership Institute at the annual meeting of the Association of Public & Land-grant Universities. Robertson was named associate dean in 2011 and spent 11 years at Oklahoma State University, including five years as assistant dean, before joining the Bumpers College faculty as associate professor in apparel merchandising and product development in 2006.

Financial Services

Donald Britnell has joined FNBC Bank as community president for the Sharp County offices. Britnell has more than 30 years of banking experience. He most recently was community executive/regional manager for the Hardy and Mammoth Spring markets for Simmons First National Bank.

Hospitality

Montine McNulty, executive director of the Arkansas Hospitality Association, has been elected president of Skål International Arkansas, the state chapter of an international association of travel and tourism professionals. Other 2015 board members include Becki Lewis with the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel, vice president; Chuck Magill with the Capital Hotel, secretary/treasurer; Karen Trevino with the North Little Rock Visitors Bureau, Skål International USA Representative; and Gretchen Hall of the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau and Bob Major of the North Little Rock Visitors Bureau, board members.

Legal

Meredith Causey has joined Quattlebaum Grooms & Tull PLLC in Little Rock and will focus her law practice on electronic discovery. Before joining the firm, Causey founded an electronic discovery company, providing guidance on related legal and strategic issues.

Nonprofits

Margaret Conrads and Robin Groesbeck have joined Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville. Conrads, named director of curatorial affairs, previously served as deputy director of art and research at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth, Texas. Groesbeck will serve as director of exhibitions and interpretive presentations. She most recently was senior director of exhibits and design at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.
