Four Ad Agencies Up for State’s Breastcare Marketing Contract

1 min read

Four Little Rock advertising agencies are in the running for a $235,000 marketing contract with the Arkansas Department of Health.

The contract, which was opened for bids on April 3, would provide services for the department’s Breastcare program, which offers breast and cervical cancer screenings.

The four agencies that responded to the department’s RFP were Eric Rob & Isaac, Martin-Wilbourn Partners, Mangan Holcomb Partners and Communications Group.

Communications Group has held the account since 2008. The department was required to reopen the contract for bids because its term had expired.

A spokesman for the department said that the RFPs were being evaluated and that presentations were expected to soon follow.

Whichever agency wins the contract will be working on a leaner budget. The budgeted amount for the old contract was about $465,000.
