Lonoke County Farmland, Hurricane Lake Lots Highlight Tri-County Seven-Digit Deals

More than 570 acres in Lonoke County, 37 residential lots in Saline County, land for a commercial redevelopment in Benton and a big home in west Little Rock provide this week’s quartet of million-dollar transactions.

• Five Oaks Farmland LLC, led by Allen Evans, bought the cropland and timber on the western outskirts of Lonoke from Preston and Cynthia Hamilton and the Hartford Ray Hamilton Jr. Family Trust.

The acreage includes more than 115 acres of woods. The property is north of Des Lauriers Road and south of Highway 89, split by Interstate 40, and extends west of Tull Road and north of Hamilton Road.

• The Hurricane Lake Estates lots shifted ownership in a transaction valued at $2.2 million. Chapman-Havens Development LLC, led by David Chapman and Todd Havens, purchased property from West Shore Development LLC, led by Ted Van Tassel and Chapman.

• An affiliate of CVS Pharmacy paid $1.06 million for the KFC location at 609 Military Road to complete the assembly of more than 2.1 acres for a new store.

Seller? Kentucky Fried Chicken of Benton Inc., led by William Mark Fikes.

• Matthew and Grace Edwards acquired a 7,000-SF home in Chenal Valley for $1 million from Edwards Custom Homes Inc., led by Katherine Edwards.
