The Communications Group Adds Executive, Texas Office

1 min read

Little Rock’s The Communications Group is opening a satellite office in Dallas through the hiring of Claude Locke as its new executive creative director.

Locke previously was executive producer of Apollo Films in Dallas, where he will remain to lead the ad agency’s new office and focus on expansion. The Texas move is part of “a multi-phase rebranding and long-range strategic plan,” the firm said.

Locke, whose work has been recognized for creative strategy, writing, direction and video production, has a client list that includes Stuttgart’s Riceland Foods, Ford Motor Co., Lincoln Motor Co., Texas Health Resources, Caterpillar International, Houston Lighting & Power, Dow Chemical, Silver Dollar City and AstraZeneca.

“Claude brings the creative muscle and resources we were looking for in our Arkansas operation and the management skills and business network to help develop our Dallas initiative,” said Communications Group President Dan Cowling. “This puts us in the middle of one of the hottest creative markets in the country…This expansion is a reflection of the changing way companies are conducting their business as well.”
