Ben Carson Headlining Rally in East Arkansas

1 min read

LITTLE ROCK – Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson is returning to Arkansas to headline a campaign rally at a West Memphis school.

The retired neurosurgeon’s campaign website said he’ll appear at a rally at West Memphis High School on Friday night and talk about his vision for the country’s future.

This is the second time Carson has campaigned in Arkansas in recent months. Carson campaigned in Little Rock in August with a rally outside the state Capitol.

Carson is among several GOP hopefuls who have visited the state since Arkansas lawmakers moved up next year’s primary from May to March 1. Other candidates who have campaigned in the state include former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and billionaire Donald Trump.
