CARTI Latest Addition to I-630’s ‘Hospital Row’

1 min read

CARTI officially joins Hospital Row this week as it plans to start seeing some patients at its new $90 million, 170,000-SF cancer center in west Little Rock on Riley Drive, off John Barrow Road.

Commuters on Interstate 630 will notice the new landmark, peeking through the ridgetop foliage just south of the freeway and west of Woodland Heights in between the Rodney Parham and Barrow interchanges.

CARTI’s new digs strengthen 630’s claim to Hospital Row.

The facility joins Baptist Health, CHI St. Vincent Infirmary, the U.S. Veterans Administration hospital, the UAMS Medical Center and Arkansas Children’s Hospital as major medical institutions located on an east-west stretch of the freeway running through the heart of Little Rock.

CARTI plans to begin seeing some cancer patients at the new place this week with necessary staff already in place. All CARTI patients should be transitioned to the new facility by mid-November, we’re told.

Meanwhile, the only CARTI centers closing are the CARTI Hematology/Oncology centers located on the Baptist Health campus (formerly Little Rock Hematology Oncology) and at 9101 Kanis Road (formerly Hematology Oncology Services of Arkansas).

All other CARTI locations throughout the state are staying open.
