Glo Airlines Adds Direct Flights from Little Rock to Destin

Regional air service provider Glo of New Orleans announced Thursday it will expand its non-stop service from Little Rock to to Florida’s Emerald Coast.

The startup public charter operator will introduce non-stop service from the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport to Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays beginning Friday, March 25.

Friday flights will depart Little Rock at 9:50 a.m. and arrive in Destin at 11:38 a.m. and leave Destin at 12:10 p.m. and arrive in Little Rock at 2:14 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday flights will depart Destin at 10:10 a.m. and arrive in Little Rock at 12:14 p.m. and leave Little Rock at 12:45 p.m. and arrive in Destin at 2:38 p.m.

The service will run through Monday, Sept. 5, beginning with one-way, introductory “GLOForIt” $149 fares.

“Since day one, we always knew we wanted to expand our service to continue restoring non-stop flights to cities in our region that had historically been connected,” Trey Fayard, Glo’s founder and CEO, said in a news release. “On Glo, we want to make travel easy, convenient and comfortable, and we’re doing that through our seasonal service to one of the greatest beach regions in the world — Destin-Fort Walton Beach.”

Glo will be Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport’s fifth air carrier and increases the amount of destinations to nine. The new service increases the Clinton National Airport’s number of destinations to 14.

“We’re thrilled that Glo will be expanding to offer nonstop service to Destin-Fort Walton Beach,” said Ronald F. Mathieu, Clinton National Airport executive director. “Families will be able to reach the beautiful, white sand beaches much quicker without facing a long drive.”

Glo’s operator, Corporate Flight Management Inc., will use 30-passenger Saab 340B aircraft on the new routes.
