Hutchinson Names 2, Promotes 2 at Arkansas Racing Commission

LITTLE ROCK – Gov. Asa Hutchinson has named two people to the Arkansas Racing Commission and moved two others into leadership roles with the panel.

Alex Lieblong of Conway will be the chairman of the panel, which supervises thoroughbred and greyhound racing. Mark Lamberth of Batesville will be vice chairman. Lieblong is president of Lieblong and Associates of Little Rock. Lamberth is the owner and partner at Atlas Asphalt and White River Materials.

The governor also appointed Steve Landers of Little Rock and Kent “Bo” Hunter of Fort Smith to the commission. Landers is president of Landers Toyota in Little Rock and Hot Springs, while Hunter is a financial advisor at Edward Jones in Fort Smith.

Hutchinson announced the appointments Thursday.
