John Burgess Replaces Mary Good on Tech Park Board

1 min read

University of Arkansas at Little Rock Chancellor Joel E. Anderson said Wednesday that he has appointed John Burgess to the Little Rock Technology Park Authority Board, effective immediately.

Burgess, the president and co-founder of Mainstream Technologies of Little Rock, replaces Mary Good on the board. Good, dean emeritus and special advisor to the chancellor for economic development, was one of the charter members of the board. She announced her retirement in February.

“I am pleased that Mr. Burgess has accepted a position on the Tech Park Board,” Anderson said. “His experience as an entrepreneur and his knowledge of the interplay of technology and business operations will be of great value to the board as it works to develop the Little Rock Technology Park.”

Burgess earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science from the UALR and serves on the board of advisers for the International Association of Cloud and Managed Service Providers.

He previously served as chairman of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the board of directors of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce.
