1 min read

Dr. Christopher Pope has been named primary physician at CARTI Radiation Oncology in Conway.

Pope joined the CARTI medical staff in 1999 as primary radiation oncologist at the network’s North Little Rock clinic, which he helped open before going on to provide roving coverage at CARTI clinics across the state.

He served as radiation chief of staff from 2004 to 2011 and as a member of the CARTI board of directors. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical Center and performed a residency in internal medicine at Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

He also completed a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Michael Chappell has joined Arkansas Oculoplastic Surgery PLLC as a new associate. He specializes in the treatment of disorders affecting the eyelids, face, orbit and lacrimal system, and is one of only a few fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeons in the state.

He will practice at the Baptist Eye Center in Hot Springs, beginning in the summer.
