Enid Olvey Promoted at Arkansas Children’s Foundation (Movers & Shakers)

Enid Olvey has been promoted to vice president of philanthropy at Arkansas Children’s Foundation in Little Rock.

She will provide oversight to the principal gifts, planned gifts and major gifts programs and will continue to serve as a key member of the foundation leadership team.

Olvey previously served as executive director of development for the foundation.


David W. Ussery recently was honored as the inaugural recipient of the Helen Adams and Arkansas Research Alliance Endowed Chair in Biomedical Informatics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

He has worked with bacterial genomics since 1995 and joined the hospital in May as the director of the Arkansas Center for Genomic & Ecological Medicine.
