LITTLE ROCK — The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has renewed the contract of the school's athletic director for another five years.

The school announced Monday that athletic director Chasse Conque signed an agreement to stay at the university through 2022.

Chancellor Andrew Rogerson called Conque "an amazing athletic director" and said he's pleased with the contract's renewal.

Conque has served as Arkansas-Little Rock's athletic director since early 2015. During that time, both the men's and women's basketball teams have advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament. The school has also commissioned a study on whether it should restart its football and marching band programs.

The Arkansas Times posted a copy of Conque's contract, which showed Conque getting a salary of $178,800 plus incentives.
