Switzer Siblings Square Off Over Delta FarmlandLock Icon

It looks like Barry Switzer’s adult children aren’t on the same team.

The three children of the former Super Bowl-winning coach of the Dallas Cowboys are fighting over the sale of 409 acres of farmland in western Arkansas County, just south of Humphrey.

The property is in the name of Barry Switzer’s first wife, the namesake of the Kay McCollum Switzer Revocable Trust. The three co-trustees are Switzer’s children, Kathy Switzer Miller, Doug Switzer and Greg Switzer, and have equal shares.

The dispute came to light in a lawsuit that Miller filed in Pulaski County Circuit Court last month against Harly Enterprises LLC of Little Rock, which does business as Arkansas County Title.

Miller, who lives at Norman, Oklahoma, alleged in the lawsuit that her brothers were planning to sell the property to Lima Foxtrot LLC, led by Little Rock attorney C. Ryan O’Quinn, but not distribute the sale proceeds to her or set aside money to pay taxes.

She also said in the lawsuit that Harly Enterprises “is working in concert with, conspiring with, and aiding and abetting Greg and Doug to breach their fiduciary duties and anticipatorily repudiate their obligations.” She is suing Harly Enterprises on allegations that include professional negligence.

An attorney for Arkansas County Title, William P. Allison of Little Rock, said his client had not been served with the lawsuit and declined to comment.

Attorney Michael McClintock of Oklahoma City, who is representing Miller, was unavailable for comment.
