Jim Fram Takes Committee Seat at International Economic Development Council (Movers & Shakers)

Jim Fram has been appointed to the Accredited Economic Development Organization Advisory Committee by the International Economic Development Council.

The panel reviews accreditation applications from economic development groups.

Fram is the former president and CEO of Hot Springs Metro Partnership, where he remains as a special project manager through the end of the year.


Mark Hamer, director of international business development for the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, has received the 2017 Odyssey Medal from his alma mater, Hendrix College at Conway.

Hamer, a 1988 graduate, was honored for his achievements in the area of global awareness, one of the six categories of engaged learning incorporated into Hendrix’s Odyssey Program.


Michelle Schrodt has been promoted to executive vice president and chief retail officer at Eagle Bank & Trust of Little Rock. A 26-year banker, Schrodt joined the bank in January as senior vice president of retail banking.
