Brooke Vines, Bill Brookshire Partner Up

2 min read

Bill Brookshire has left his post as creative director at Little Rock marketing agency Stone Ward to partner with Brooke Vines in a new venture called Vines Brookshire.

Vines, the Little Rock media buyer who has been running Vines Media for more than 15 years, revealed the collaboration Thursday in a telephone interview with Arkansas Business.

“We’re pretty excited about this, because we have wanted to do this forever,” she said. “We worked with one another years ago when he was at the Allison Agency, but it just was never the right time” to form a partnership, she said.

Brookshire, a University of Oklahoma graduate who started at Allison in 2001, was creative director at the firm when it was acquired by Stone Ward in 2013. His biographical page has been taken down from the Stone Ward website.

“We’ve been following some trends in the industry and we have a model that we think has a lot of demand from the client side,” Vines said. “It’s a little bit different kind of service.”

She said the new marketing start-up “will provide affordable, accountable and transparent strategic consulting to organizations who want to optimize the talents and energies of their in-house staff.” The current clients of Vines Media will now be working with Vines Brookshire.

“Often in organizations the creative staff members and technology staff members are not successful talking to each other,” Vines said. “Our expertise can help these two groups work together more effectively toward shared marketing goals.” She said clients should save time, allowing their marketing leaders to improve in-house efforts.

Vines said she and Brookshire are looking at office space but aren’t ready to commit. “A lot of what we’ll do will be onsite work, so having an office … we’ll figure that out. Expect to hear more pretty soon.”
