Nabholz Names Joint COOs, Remakes Company Structure

2 min read

Nabholz Corp. of Conway said Monday that it is changing its corporate structure and regional organization — moves that include new chief operating officers.

The construction company said Don Greenland, who has been COO for 19 years, will become the firm’s strategic growth officer, focusing on employee development and training and researching new markets and services. He’ll remain on the company’s board.

Two executives will take on the COO role: Brad Hegeman and Greg Fogle.

Hegeman has been president of the company’s South Central operations, which included central and northeast Arkansas and the Memphis metropolitan area. He oversaw construction projects including the Southwest Power Pool headquarters, CARTI Cancer Center and ATA headquarters in Little Rock.

Fogle has been president of Nabholz’s Midwest operation, which included northwest Arkansas, Kansas City and southwestern Missouri. Fogle’s team completed projects including Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Amazeum, J.B. Hunt Transport Services’ headquarters and Arkansas Children’s Hospital Northwest.

New Regional Organization

The company also restructured its regional organization.

“We’ve spent a lot of time over the last two years discussing changes to this structure that will carry us into the future and allow us to grow, add even more new services and foster the sharing of resources across the corporation,” CEO Greg Williams said in a news release. “I’m confident that the changes we’ve made will help us become a stronger company and serve clients more efficiently.”

The company’s South Central operations, which included central and northeast Arkansas and the Memphis metro, is now known as the South Region. Nabholz Executive Vice President Jake Nabholz will be president.

The Midwest operation, which encompassed northwest Arkansas, Kansas City and southwestern Missouri, is now known as the Central Region. It no longer includes Nabholz’s Kansas operation, which is now its own region.

Executive Vice President Steve Clouten has been named the new president of the Central Region. Executive Vice President Jon Pahl will now be president of the Kansas operation, which the company has renamed the Midwest Region.

Nabholz also said it will break out its civil group, once part of its operations in northwest Arkansas, into its own unit. Jim Spotts, who leads the civil group, has been named its president. Spotts joins other Nabholz special group presidents Ben Montgomery, who leads the industrial group, and Michael Parker, who leads the energy and environmental group.

Nabholz also named three new executive vice presidents of construction: Andrew Adlong in northeast Arkansas; Rob Dodd in northwest Arkansas; and Gregg Scholtens in Springfield, Missouri.

Founded in 1949, Nabholz Corp. has offices in Arkansas, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Oklahoma.
