Holly Rogers Promoted at Poultry Federation (Movers & Shakers)

Holly Rogers has been promoted to director of marketing and business development for The Poultry Federation in Little Rock. A graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Rogers has been with the federation for three years and was previously the director of marketing and communications.

David and Brittany Carwell of Cherry Valley (Cross County), Chase and Krystal Groves of Garland City (Miller County) and Tyler and Randy McDonald of Lewisville were named finalists for the Arkansas Farm Bureau’s Young Farmer & Rancher Achievement Award.

The Carwells own B&D Land & Cattle LLC. The Groves have a cattle operation and a custom fertilizer application and custom hay baling business. The McDonalds have a poultry production business and a custom hay and sprigging operation, raise purebred Angus and commercial cattle and grow commercial pecans.

Tyler Davis of Ashdown, Michael and Lauren Lee of Conway and Jared and Michelle Pass of Hartford were named finalists for the bureau’s Excellence in Agriculture Award.

Davis is the market president of Diamond Bank and operates a purebred Charolais and commercial cattle farm and raises show pigs for sale. The Lees own a cow and calf operation that focuses on marketing beef directly to consumers. The Pass family owns Pass Farms and Mountain View Ranch, where they grow hay and raise cattle horses, chickens and goats.
