2 Firms Merge to Form Rasco Winter Thomas Group

Two Little Rock certified public accounting firms have merged.

Rasco Winter Abston Moore & Associates and L. Cotton Thomas & Company announced Tuesday that they would combine operations. The new company, Rasco Winter Thomas Group, will have 25 staffers, including 14 CPAs. 

Rasco Winter Abston Moore & Associates LLP was formed in 1973; it was ranked 15th on Arkansas Business’ most recent list of the state’s largest accounting firms.

L. Cotton Thomas & Company was formed in 1964. The firms said they operate “similar client-focused philosophies.” 

“The accounting profession is constantly changing to adapt to the complex regulatory environment and continual economic challenges,” Kevin Norton, partner of Rasco Winter Thomas Group, said in a news release. “This merger allows us access to greater resources with which to address these challenges and to better serve our clients. And now with our 99 years of combined experience, we can provide even greater insight and value to our clients.” 

Rasco Winter Thomas Group said it will continue serving clients in the transportation, insurance, construction, professional services, health care, nonprofit and distribution industries.
