The Little Rock Regional Chamber has hired Brandon Campbell as director of Small Business & Diversity Initiatives.

The chamber said more than 80 percent of its members are small-business owners. Campbell will be responsible for helping facilitate growth among small businesses, promoting small businesses and diversity programming and engaging with entrepreneurship partners to further enhance startup activity.

A native of Little Rock, Campbell is the founder and owner of Little Rock Fashion Week LLC, which produces annual weeklong events that spotlight up and coming fashion scenes in Little Rock, Baton Rouge and Plano, Texas. The chamber said he's founded three other companies in Little Rock.

Before founding LRFW, Campbell held various positions in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles and New York.

He graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor's degree in journalism, minoring in international studies, and with a certificate in entrepreneurship.
