FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas freshman forward Brandon Moore is facing an array of traffic-related charges, including driving while intoxicated, and has been suspended indefinitely after a weekend arrest.

Moore was arrested by the University of Arkansas Police Department and booked at 7:51 a.m. Sunday on charges that include DWI, reckless driving, no proof of insurance, failure to register vehicle and fictitious vehicle license/registration.

Coach John Pelphrey released a statement through the media relations department. Pelphrey said Moore "will continue to practice and be a part of the team."

"The University of Arkansas and the basketball program are committed to the highest standards on and off the court, and our student-athletes are expected to adhere to those standards."

Moore, according to a preliminary report released by UAPD, registered a .10 after submitting to a breathalyzer. He failed a field sobriety test that was administered after Moore admitted "to drinking to alcoholic beverages."

Officer Tiffany Lindley wrote in the report that she made a traffic stop after witnessing Moore pass a vehicle on Dickson Street. Dickson is a two-lane road "divided by a double-yellow line."

Lindley reported that she detected "the odor of intoxicants" upon pulling Moore over.

Moore, 19, faces a Feb. 9 hearing in Fayetteville District Court.

Moore, a freshman from New Orleans who played his sophomore season of high school basketball in Little Rock, has appeared in all 16 games for the Razorbacks. He was averaging 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds, playing an average of 8.8 minutes per game.

Moore played nine minutes in Saturday's 80-65 loss to Florida. He did not score and finished with 1 rebound, 2 steals and 1 block.
