Only In Arkansas Is In-State Competition Illegal

So while perusing other SEC media outlets for items of interest, we came upon further proof that Arkansas' policy of no in-state competition might be outdated.

Alabama and Auburn both played schools from their home state in non-conference baseball games on Tuesday. Auburn lost 4-3 to South Alabama, while the Crimson Tide slipped past Alabama-Birmingham, 6-4.

Best we can tell the Auburn and Alabama athletic programs did not crumble over night because of Tuesday's games. Neither program has anything to gain by playing schools from inside its borders, but they do.

Would it kill Arkansas to play Arkansas State in something?

Just sayin'...
