It would be wise to reserve judgment on Arkansas' 2009 recruiting class until national signing day.
Still, it's hard not like the diretion things are headed if you follow the Razorbacks.
Less than a week remains until signing day and the Razorbacks are currently ranked among the Top 15 by recruiting services. Rivals.com has Arkansas at No. 14, while Scout has the Razorbacks at No. 13.
Arkansas got a big boost on Tuesday when tailback Ronnie Wingo and wide receiver Cobi Hamilton committed. By now you've heard/read news of their commitments, but just in case you haven't, we offer a couple stories recapping those commitments.
Wingo told the St. Louis Post Dispatch "It was really, really close between Arkansas and Missouri," Wingo said. "Arkansas, I just felt, was the best fit for me."
And Hamilton told reporters in Texas that Arkansas "felt like home."
Check back in with ArkasasSports360.com next week for an in-depth look at how the 2009 class shapes up. Arkansas is putting together its second class under coach Bobby Petrino and it appears to be another good one.
Arkansas has ranked among the Top 25 recruiting rankings twice (2004 and 2005)since 2002, but never have the Razorbacks finished in the Top 15.
