Update: Cliff Lee has been traded to the Texas Rangers.

Cliff Lee could soon be on the move.

Lee, a Benton native and former UA pitcher, has spent almost the entire first half of the baseball season in Seattle. He's drawing interest from a number of teams and a Yahoo Sports blog has the Cincinnati Red and Minnesota Twins as the main suitors.

Interest in Lee is high for good reason, Yahoo points out..

Seattle Mariners hurler Cliff Lee(notes), who only has a few months left on his current contract, is a very wanted man. And why not? They guy struck out 11 Detroit Tigers on Sunday and has the American League's lowest ERA at 2.34, most amount of complete games at five, and lowest WHIP stats at 0.95.

He started the season not wanting to give up a single walk and has only allowed eight in the 103.2 innings he's pitched so far this year.

Lee's contract with Seattle - acquired from the Philadelphia Phillies - is set to expire at the end of the year.
