Greg Childs for Heisman? NCAA Football 2011 Simulates Hog Domination

When that college football fever hits you with anticipation, don't you wish you could just fast forward to the season or even "play it out" to see how the season would go?

The folks at KegsnEggsBlog.com did exactly that. They simulated the entire season of EA Sports' NCAA Football 2011 on an XBox 360 and surprisingly, Arkansas dominated.

Who is your virtual Heisman winner? Greg Childs.

And your virtual national champion? The Arkansas Razorbacks. A perfect 14-0 season at that.

Arkansas' super quarterback Ryan Mallett had an awesome virtual season throwing for 44 touchdowns with only eight interceptions. Mallett had a noble Heisman run, but only finished third, with Texas Tech's Taylor Potts finishing second. Childs' monster virtual season consisted of 104 receptions for 1,788 yards and 19 touchdowns, albeit with a little help from Mallett.

It's the result Arkansas fans have longed for. Sadly, it only came on a video game.

As far as we know, the KegsnEggs bloggers have no affiliation to Arkansas and were just as surprised at the results as anyone else.

While we appreciate the virtual glory, it'll be a whole lot of fun to see if it can happen on Saturdays this fall.
