The University of Arkansas at Monticello football team had five seniors selected to the 2010 Preseason All-Gulf South Conference team while Ouachita Baptist University returned five All-GSC honorees from last season. Both schools lead the conference in the number of players for the All-GSC squad.

The UAM Boll Weevils are represented by quarterback Scott Buisson, wide receiver Jywin Ceasar, linebacker Carlton Johnson, free safety Augustus Ashley and specialist Larry Livers.

The OBU Tigers had defensive tackle Bryan Church, linebacker Clayton Goree, tight end Phillip Supernaw, guard Kyle Smith and tackle Cory Godbolt picked.

The 2010 Preseason GSC Football Team is selected by head coaches of the 11-member league. OBU's Church was one of only three consensus picks by league coaches.
