MONTICELLO – University of Arkansas at Monticello head football coach Hud Jackson has revealed a list of 34 high school seniors that have signed National Letters of Intent to become Boll Weevils starting in 2011.

“It is simply amazing that we were able to sign this many players in the short amount of time we had,” said Jackson at a reception Wednesday afternoon inside the Indoor Practice Facility. “Not only did we get great football players, we got great people. We got great young men from great families and great programs… We got some of the best around, and it’s because of our great coaches, who are working extremely hard to make UAM a premier program.”

Of the 34 signed, 19 are from the state of Arkansas, including 16 from within a 90-mile radius of the city of Monticello. Jackson and his staff signed 11 players from the state of Louisiana, six of which are also in the 90-mile radius of Monticello.
