Arkansas has signed what is regarded as one of the nation’s top basketball recruiting classes. All five members are rated as Rivals.com Top 150 prospects.
Guard B.J. Young is No. 18, guard Ky Madden is No. 27, forward Hunter Mickelson is No. 98, forward Devonta Abron is No. 106 and forward Aaron Ross is No. 147.
It’s an impressive group, but none were fortunate enough to make the cut as McDonald’s All-Americans. The list of 24 players was announced on Thursday.
Young was listed as a "snub" by recruiting analyst Evan Daniels.
There will be several SEC players next year that made the cut (assuming, of course, they all make it to their respective campuses). Kentucky signed four, while Florida, Georgia and LSU each have one.
