Arkansas offensive tackle Anthony Oden was arrested early Saturday morning on a number of charges, including DWI and possession of a controlled substance.

Oden, 21, was booked at 8:52 a.m. in the Washington County Detention Center. He was released at 10:27 a.m. on $2,000 bond, following his arrest by a Fayetteville Police Department officer.

Charges included driving left of center, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, no proof of ownership, driving on a suspended/revoked license, no driver’s license in addition to the DWI and possession charge.

This is Oden’s second arrest since July 4, 2010. He was charged then with DWI and suspended for the season opening game.

Arkansas Coach Bobby Petrino was unavailable for comment, a team spokesman said.

Oden left Arkansas last year while dealing with what team officials described as “mono.” He re-enrolled for the spring and was among the players being considered for a starting tackle position.
