Brad Paisley apparently has some explaining to do in Arkansas.

Video has surfaced of the country star setting fire to a Razorback welcome mat as part of a tour prank. Paisley, who later tossed an Arkansas hat into the fire, was retaliating for having his West Virginia welcome mat stolen and replaced with the Razorback mat outside his tour bus.

Eden’s Edge, a country group from Arkansas, was responsible for the mat swap. They stole Paisley's rug and left a ransom note.

Video of both incidents is captured below.

Paisley retaliates:

What is a reasonable retaliation to somebody stealing a welcome mat? Many Arkansas fans online would seem to draw the line at setting fire to a Razorback rug.

Pranks tend to escalate quickly. Is it really any surprise that it happened here too?

Paisley drew more than 9,000 fans when he played Verizon Nov. 19. Here's a review of that show from our own Bill Paddack.
