Cornerback Ray Buchanan Jr. became the 16th Arkansas commitment for the class of 2012 with a weekend pledge.

Buchanan, son of former NFL all-pro defensive back Ray Buchanan, had offers from schools including Cincinnati, Louisville, Mississippi State and Illinois.

Below we take a look at Buchanan and other commitments thanks to Hawgs247.com. Remember, commitments are non-binding until National Signing Day.

Buchanan Jr. told the Atlanta Journal Constitution:

“I talked to a lot of former and current players, and they all said they really loved it at Arkansas. It’s an exciting atmosphere for college football, and a great place to get a degree.”
