While Arkansas State tops the Sun Belt and enjoys an 8-2 record, the Red Wolves' former opponent Western Kentucky finds its name on the nightly news after an assistant coach is arrested for DUI.
Defensive coordinator Lance Guidry was pulled over for driving drunk on the streets of Baton Rouge before Saturday's game against LSU. We know the Tigers are tough this year, but still, that's no excuse. Hilltoppers coach Willie Taggart says discipline will be administered, but for now Guidry at least still has a job.
WKU isn't the only ASU rival from this season to have, shall we say, a rough weekend. Illinois is dealing with two players who were arrested this weekend after getting into a fight and resisting a police officer.
Neither freshman player had played a game with the Fighting Illini this season, unlike linebacker Trulon Henry who was shot in the ring finger at another unruly party.
