Gary Blair is returning to Arkansas.

Well, the state of Arkansas.

Blair, the former Razorback women's coach, leads Texas A&M, the defending national champions, into Little Rock tonight for a game at UALR. Tip is set for 7 p.m. between the Lady Trojans and Lady Aggies.

A&M (2-0) enters the game ranked No. 6 by the Associated Press and is coming off a 76-58 victory against Louisville. UALR (1-1) lost 69-60 against SMU.

In UALR’s most recent outing, freshman Taylor Gault recorded a career-high of 20 points, while senior Marian Kursh recorded 17 points and a team-high of seven boards. Tyra White is the Aggies’ top player and enters averaging 17.5 points per game.

A&M won last year’s meeting, 87-41, in College Station, Texas.

Blair was a fan favorite before parting ways with Arkansas. He coached the Razorback women 10 seasons and mentioned his time in Fayetteville in a post-game interview with ESPN after winning last year’s national title.
