Arkansas’ official schedule still lists the site of the Texas A&M game as “TBD,” but the venue has most likely been determined for the next two years.

Athletic Director Jeff Long told ArkansasSports360.com on Friday that the schools will play home-and-home in 2012 and 2013, rather than in Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, where they’ve been the last three years. That means this season’s game will be at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, and the 2013 game will be held at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville.

No official release has come from Arkansas yet. Long said that’s merely a matter of waiting to get a signed contract. Long did say he expects the game to shift back to Cowboys Stadium in 2014, so the schools can honor their agreement with the venue.  Originally the schools were set to meet in Arlington, Texas, until 2017, but the contract was made with the two as members of separate conferences.

Once A&M moved from the Big 12 to the SEC, the Aggies and Razorbacks began looking at changes to the deal.

“My hesitancy to put it on our official schedule [is] I’m one that likes to have a signed agreement,” Long told ArkansasSports360.com on Friday. “We don’t have a signed agreement yet. It’s likely we’ll be at Kyle Field this year.”

“If we’re playing at Kyle Field in 2012, that we’ll play in Fayetteville in 2013. I’m hopeful following that we’ll get back to playing in Cowboys Stadium for an extended period of time.”
