Truman Arnold Cos. Reports $3 Billion in Annual Revenue

1 min read

It’s a big job, so we’ve started surveying for our list of the state’s 75 largest private companies even though the list won’t be published until May 21. And the survey responses that have come back include something that just won’t wait three more months:

Truman Arnold Cos., which we include in our list even though it is actually on the "wrong" side of Texarkana, reported revenue that broke through the $3 billion mark for the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30. That’s a record for TAC and for our list.

TAC is a petroleum wholesaler and provider of aviation services through fixed-base operations around the region, so its revenue rises and falls with the price of oil, which has been volatile.

Whispers asked Chief Financial Officer Steve McMillen to predict this year’s revenue since TAC’s is already a third of the way through its fiscal year, and his response was:

"As you know, that’s not an easy question to answer. At the current run-rate I would expect us to be in line with last fiscal year."
