Former Little Rock Parkview standout Aaron Ross has committed to Texas Tech.

Ross, a 6-7, 220-pound forward, was a member of the 2011 Arkansas signing class, but was unable to enroll because of eligibility issues. He’s been playing at St. John’s Academy in Delafield, Wisc. Multiple recruiting services are reporting Ross committed to the Red Raiders and Coach Billy Gillispie after a weekend visit.

"I had a great visit, I liked the campus, Coach G and the staff it was just a great fit for me," Ross told ESPN.com’s Reggie Rankin.

Arkansas, Alabama and Dayton were among the schools pursuing Ross, considered one of the top 150 players in the Class of 2011.

Ross, who averaged 23 points and 11 rebounds in prep school, will join another Arkansas native at Texas Tech. Pulaski Academy’s Dusty Hannahs signed with the Red Raiders during the early signing period.
