Arkansas State's football upgrade wish list includes an indoor practice facility.

A good reminder of why they'd like one came on Friday. Spring practice was cancelled because of weather, including heavy rain and lightning.

Instead of practice, the team held a walk-through on the basketball court inside the Convocation Center. ASU now has a week off for spring break and the Red Wolves will reschedule the cancelled workout sometime after they return.

There are 14 spring practices remaining, including the spring game on April 14. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. and it is the only workout open to the public.
